A client requested a "forest" display to be built for a taxidermy exhibit in Canada. Thick plywood was used as the base. The entire display was made on seven 4 ft. moveable sections. The tree trunks were bored out and slid over steel rods in the base. The platforms were foamed and covered with preserved moss to look like the forest floor. Simulated rocks, grasses and shrubs finish off the look. Autumn birch on real birch trunks gave a fall look, along with aspen bushes and meadow grass. Several sizes of pine trees were made using real pine trunks and artificial pine foliage. Shown here in our production facility, once at its final destination, the stuffed animals will be added to this display.
